Chuck Jennings has a BA degree in painting and drawing, and MA and MFA degrees in Fine Art and Design. He moved to the Central Coast from the Chicago area in 1968 to teach at Cal Poly. He was the Chair of the Department of Art and Design for 14 years before he retired in 2008. Chuck has exhibited his work all over the United States. His favorite venues have been Santa Fe, New Mexico and Sedona, Arizona. Chuck’s work is included in the collection of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. Although for most of his art career he concentrated on painting, he has loved photography since he bought his first single lens reflex camera in 1967. He bought his first digital camera in 2003. Since then, he has devoted all his creative energies to photography. In 2010 he opened ConcoursStudios. He now owns and operates Giclée Print and Photo in San Luis Obispo.
