Photography
Bill Rumbler started out as a photographer and a reporter with a daily newspaper in Michigan in the 1960’s, but later tried to make a living by words alone, and largely succeeded. Photography was relegated to snapping pictures of kids and grandkids in the wading pool, and Aunt Tilly in front of Big
Ben. Then, in January 2013, Bill purchased a Nikon D7000 and ever since he’s been out shooting sunrises, sunsets, moonrises and moonsets, while trying to find unique locations from which to do so. He’s probably out shooting while you’re reading this.
As far as a philosophy of photography goes, well, it’s taken nearly 70 years for him to develop a philosophy of life, so who knows how long it’ll take to come up with a philosophy of image making.
