Photography
I have been looking through a lens since I was 20 years old. Throughout my career, I have always tried to capture the light, find the contrasts, and make the ordinary obvious and the perspective unique.
While hiking in Colorado and Utah I came across dry vernal pools on cliffs and thought these natural basins looked abstract when isolated so I captured them. While hiking in Point Reyes I found lichen that were perfectly round formed and of different colors, another natural wonder. While walking the beach at San Simeon I found seaweed and shells perfectly and naturally arranged. Watching the sun rise and set over Laguna Lake in San Luis Obispo, I marvel at how light creates impressions to delight us all.
I continue to look for the interesting light and subjects to photograph.
